  5. This file contains the brief description of the DeviceLock's installation
  6. procedure. For more detailed information, please read
  7. DeviceLock Quick Install Guide.pdf available at our website:

  10. DeviceLock works on any computer using Windows NT 4.0/2000/XP or
  11. Windows Server 2003. To install DeviceLock, you MUST have administrative
  12. privileges.

  15. There is a single installation package that installs all DeviceLock
  16. components: setup.exe.
  17.  
  18. setup.exe installs DeviceLock Group Policy Manager, DeviceLock Management
  19. Console (MMC snap-in), DeviceLock Enterprise Manager, DeviceLock Service,
  20. DeviceLock Service.msi, DeviceLock Enterprise Server, Certificate Generation
  21. Tool, DeviceLock Signing Tool, DeviceLock Manual.pdf and help files.

  23. You can install DeviceLock Service without user intervention (silent mode) by
  24. using a special configuration file (devicelock.ini) to define some settings
  25. and permissions for unattended setup. Moreover, the unattended setup allows
  26. you to deploy the agent using Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS).
  27. Use the package definition files (DevLock.pdf for SMS version 1.x and
  28. DevLock.sms for SMS version 2.0 and later) supplied with DeviceLock, located
  29. in the sms.zip file. For more information about the unattended setup, please
  30. read DeviceLock Manual.pdf.
